У меня нету, вообще нету никакого оценочного мнения о ларьках и их сносе. Я их помню, было какое-то удобство от их появления (да, я помню, как они появалялись), но была и грязь и гадливость. Я никогда особенно не задумывалась о правовой основе их возникновения и существования, хотя казалось, что ничего правового там не было и нет. Но знать -- не знала. И вот. Какое там правовое основания для сноса -- не знаю и не интересуюсь, хотя думаю, что примерно такое же, как при появлении.

Не об этом ли так часто говорят российские жители эмигрантам, мол, чего вас так до сих пор колышет, что у нас здесь происходит? Так вот, не колышет. Дожила :))

this is a KRYMNASH argument ( not yours, but common now).

those structures, perhaps illegally, perhaps with payback to officials, perhaps by sale to current owner - have existed. just like Crimea and Donbass existed, with bad foresight and justice, under Ukraine.
it was wrong and not pretty, but they existed.

then some lawless people come, sent by you-know-whom, and take away or disrupt and destroy those erroneously built "structures". so all the good people are so upset - how dare they, how dare they steal someone's property, even if it was shadily assigned!

same here. little owners had their little shops,perhaps shadily built or acquired.

no matter - it is their property now. the mayor should have BOUGHT THEM OUT, not destroyed them!

teh best thing trump could do now is to reach out tom american muslims, apologize for rash statements, and explain where the distrust and animosity stems from -

1. jihad - needs to be redefined and denounced in its current sense by all muslims
2. sharia - acceptable only where it overlaps american law

if those two reasons for fear and loathing are fixed, he should explain, then the prejudice against muslims will abate.
